TONIC teams up with Luella!
Cool Brit Luella Bartley has designed a world-exclusive T-shirt collection for the new causes we have launched this season. With names like Stag, Scary Douglas, Pagan Sun, and Robin, each have been designed especially for TONIC! Made of a 70%/30% bamboo/cotton blend, the fabric does not harm thse environment and das been produced according to ethical practices. This is conscious style in the making - grab one!
Andrea Duff
Director or Operations
Andrea has pugs called Buddha and Peanut. She also has over eight years experience supporting remote users with web access and technical support. Prior to six years as a network analyst, she supported 15 facilities for the Regional Office for Assisted Living. She travelled all over the Bay Area and Nevada, impressed by people actively joining in and making the best of challenging situations. Her love of nature is one of the reasons she is excited to work at TONIC.
Dan Estabrook
General Manager
Dan has 20 years of experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He has held Product Marketing roles at Mattel Toys, Pacific Bell (now AT&T), and Covad Communications. Dan has also worked for Stanford University and most recently at The Nature Conservancy, where he directed major gift efforts in Northern California. Dan is excited about applying his experiences from these past endeavors to help eliminate junk mail for our members and accomplishing some good in the world. Dan serves on the Board of many non-profits. He also grew up on a dairy farm in Maine.
Justin LaBaw-Rivers
Creative Director
Justin LaBaw has over 8 years of experience in creative direction within interactive media. He has spearheaded the creative divisions of notable companies such as Yahoo!, Buzztone, and Hands-On Mobile, applying his signature illustrative style and in-depth understanding of today's market to each project. Living in New York, Justin worked in the editorial halls of Vibe, Esquire and Complex Magazine, but he knew a move to LA would prove to start a new direction. Justin intends to infuse his enthusiasm for nature and preservation with TONIC.
Kendra Ott
Director of Marketing
Kendra has several years of experience in non-profit fundraising and management. As a Campaign Manager at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in San Francisco, Kendra grew her program an impressive 41% in just two years. By joining TONIC, she looks forward to working towards responsible social and environmental consumerism for all. She has learned most of what she knows about the world through a healthy mix of wondering and wandering.
Sebastian Clayton
Web Producer
Sebastian has designed and produced websites for clients such as U2, Mercury Records, Palm Pictures, Blue Mountain Music, Bob Marley, Margaret Howell, National Magazines and Red Direct. He was also the Co-founder of Digital:CC, a digital agency who directed work for Smirnoff Vdoka, Red Bull, Interscope Records, Sony Playstation, Unilever and European Broadcast Union. Sebastian’s work on music band U2’s website, earned awards from Rolling Stones Magazine, UK Online Music Awards, American Music Awards and Yahoo Internet Life Magazine. His focus has stretched from New Media Strategy to Digital Business Development and Acquisition to Content Design and Implementation.
Kat Popiel
Director of Content
Kat has travelled to over 35 countries across the world, calling everywhere home. Her marketing background has seen her involved with brands such as Sony, HTC Mobile, Marks & Spencers, K-Swiss, Vladivar Vodka and Whyte & Mackay focused on the areas of brand development and communications. A producer at heart, Kat has worked on events for Maharishi, Rockers NYC, Patta, Pain Au Chokolat amongst countless others. A key blogger for Too Much Information and Slamxhype, she has also written for magazines such as Trace, Terrace, The Fader and numerous others online. She is one of the core members of The Affiliates, a London-based collective dedicated to the fusion of music and design.
Glenn Smith
Engineering
Glenn has been an avid recycler for 24 years. He loves watching the progress made over past two decades from curb-side recycling around the South Bay Area. But he wonders why so much mail still gets hauled from mailboxes to the trash! Glenn has enjoyed developing and installing MES and maintenance systems for businesses ranging from coal mining in the United States, to public utilities in New Zealand, to geothermal power plants in Indonesia.
Pankaj Shah

Entrepreneur Pankaj Shah is all about building companies. Tonic, his latest venture and newest success, is a refreshing company that finds uplifting ways to invigorate and strengthen people's lives and the planet. Its flagship service, GreenDimes is already the leader in reducing the amount of unsolicited postal mail and catalogues delivered to U.S. mailboxes. Through TONIC services and products, Shah hopes to change the world a little bit at a time. Shah's previous successes include 4INFO and MetroFi. He serves on the Board of Directors for TONIC and MetroFi and as an Advisor to several venture-backed start-ups.
