The Global Fund for Children knows how important clean teeth are. That's why they are helping dentists travel to communities to give free check ups, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It's a good deal.

Dental health in Colombia is considered a luxury both by families, and many government and NGO social programs. For us, it's a part of our everyday routine! Global Fund for Children works with Fundacion Simsa, a foundation started by a dentist who wanted to improve access to basic services in the poor areas of Bogota. The Healthy Little Mouths program operates a one-day mobile dental clinic - each can treat between 150-300 children, rotating to return to each neighborhood every six months. During the past year Simsa conducted 11 mobile dental clinics serving a total of 1,200 children.
